The PCMS chapter of FFA is in it's second year. FFA members learn leadership skills, how to prepare and compete, and how to be a better citizen. FFA members are involved in various types of activities including competition teams and travel quite a bit through the state of Georgia. As mentioned above, one goal of FFA is to teach students how to compete and how to be effective leaders. One way we accomplish this is through competition teams such as horse judging, floriculture, forestry, nursery and landscape. Our chapter travels to the state fair in Perry, the region rally in Tifton, and the state FFA conference in Macon. Our members are encouraged to participate in these activities as a way to learn outside of the classroom and have fun at the same time.
